Incense Burners

Original drawing by Susan Walton pressed into a slab of earthenware clay.  A bead of clay is added to the surface with a hole to hold a stick of incense.
They are not completely round and the distinct difference from piece to piece shows the beauty that you can only find in handmade work. Covered with a glossy food safe glaze and fired to 2000 degrees F (earthenware)
